Terminological Subcorpus "«– An electronic database consisting of texts collected from works written in the Kazakh language in various scientific fields and providing comprehensive linguistic information on terminology. The terminological corpus serves the following purposes: • promotes research in various fields of science and consistent, systematic use of commonly used terms; • facilitates high-quality translation, creation of machine translations and online dictionaries; • helps to unify terms frequently used in public relations, as well as industry terms (especially in textbooks and manuals, that is, in the terminology of the education system); • improves terminological knowledge not only of specialists and terminologists, but also of the general public, acting as an innovative information and intellectual base that helps strengthen interethnic relations of the state language. The scientific texts (about 5,000,000 word usages) included in the database are metamarked (the source, type of text, topic, style, keywords, field of science, etc. are indicated). Terminological designations have been added to 10,000 terms from various scientific disciplines, including the following parameters: variants of the term in Kazakh and Russian, etymology and its Kazakh equivalent, definition in Kazakh, source, scope, author, composition, approved version, year, translation in industry terminological dictionaries and use of the term in legislation (translations and variants)".
